KuKirin Common Mechanical & Electrical Issues

1. Sheared Folding Locking Bolt:

High load on off-road terrain causes stem pin wear. Replace stock folding latch bolts with grade 12.9 high-tensile steel bolts.

2. Key Ignition Barrel Failure:

If display fails to light up when turning key, bypass or replace the 3-pin key barrel switch.

3. Mechanical Disc Brake Squeal:

Clean brake rotors with isopropyl alcohol and adjust static inner pad set screw using a 4mm hex key.
