In-Store Workshop Service Terms & Coverage Details

Store Service Terms

1. Overview & Standard Coverage Period

We take pride in our workmanship and the quality of parts supplied. All standard repairs and fitted parts in our workshop are backed by a limited service warranty from the date of collection.

Standard Warranty Limits:

  • Labor & Workmanship: 30 Days from completion date.
  • Replacement Parts: 90-day warranty on all new parts supplied and fitted by us, excluding consumable wear-and-tear components (such as inner tubes, tyres, and brake pads).

2. What Is Covered

This warranty covers defects directly related to specific services provided or new parts supplied and fitted by our technicians:

  • Defects in new parts supplied and installed directly by our workshop.
  • Workmanship issues or improper assembly directly linked to the specific repair.
  • Re-occurrence of the exact technical fault repaired, provided no external factors caused secondary failure.

3. General Exclusions & Limitations

The repair warranty does NOT apply to or cover:

  • Water & Liquid Damage: Corrosion, short circuits, or water ingress into electronics, motors, batteries, or display consoles.
  • Physical Impact & Accidents: Damage resulting from crashes, drops, curb hits, jumping, off-road misuse, or excessive weight loads.
  • Punctures & Flat Tyres: Inner tube or tyre punctures caused by road debris, glass, thorn pinch-flats, or improper inflation post-collection (unless caused by an installation defect identified within 48 hours).
  • Consumable Wear & Tear: Normal wear on brake pads, brake discs, tyres, footpads, grips, or gradual battery capacity degradation over time.
  • Third-Party Tampering: Any alteration, self-repair attempt, firmware modification/flashing, or third-party disassembly post-repair immediately voids this warranty.
  • Pre-Existing Conditions: Unrepaired pre-existing faults or existing wear on unserviced components noted on your original intake diagnostic receipt.

4. How to Make a Warranty Claim

  1. 1. Report Promptly: Contact us via WhatsApp, phone, or email as soon as an issue is noticed.
  2. 2. Return to Workshop: Bring the electric scooter back to our repair center along with your original receipt or repair job sheet.
  3. 3. Diagnostic & Inspection: Our technicians will inspect the vehicle to verify if the fault falls within warranty terms. Approved repairs/replacements will be completed free of charge.

5. Store Terms & Disclaimers

  • Non-Transferable: Warranty coverage applies exclusively to the original customer named on the job ticket and is non-transferable.
  • Limitation of Liability: Our liability is limited solely to the repair or replacement of defective parts/labor performed by us. We are not liable for indirect loss, personal injury, or secondary property damage.
  • Parts Availability: If a replacement part under warranty is out of stock, repair lead times may depend on supplier availability.

Online Purchase Warranty Policy & Terms of Sale

This policy outlines the warranty coverage, legal rights, and return procedures for all parts purchased through our online store.

1. 90-Day Express Parts Warranty

Coverage Scope: All new replacement parts purchased online carry a 90-day express warranty from the date of delivery against manufacturing defects, material failures, or mechanical faults.

Remedies: If a qualifying fault occurs within 90 days of delivery, we will repair the item, provide a replacement part, or issue a refund in accordance with your statutory rights.

Installation Requirements: Parts must be fitted correctly following standard manufacturer guidelines or by a qualified technician.

2. Standard Exclusions & Limitations

The express warranty strictly does not cover:

  • Consumables & Wear-and-Tear: Components naturally subject to wear through normal operation—including inner tubes, tyres, brake pads, brake discs, bearings, cables, and grips—unless a manufacturing fault is present upon initial receipt and reported within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Incorrect Fitting & Alterations: Faults or damage caused by improper installation, cross-threading, over-tightening, unauthorized repairs, or modifications.
  • Misuse & Accidental Damage: Damage resulting from crashes, impacts, water ingress exceeding the component's IP rating, exposure to extreme conditions, or lack of routine maintenance.
  • Commercial & Courier Use: Components fitted to vehicles used for commercial delivery services, courier work, or rental fleets, unless covered under a separate commercial agreement.

3. Statutory Consumer Rights (UK Law)

This warranty operates in addition to, and does not restrict, your statutory rights under UK law:

  • 14-Day Right to Cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013): You have the right to cancel and return unused items in their original, unopened packaging within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. Return postage for change-of-mind cancellations is the customer's responsibility.
  • Consumer Rights Act 2015 (Within 30 Days): If an item arrives faulty or develops a manufacturing defect within 30 days of delivery, you are entitled to request an immediate full refund or replacement.
  • Consumer Rights Act 2015 (Within 6 Months): If a fault appears after 30 days but within 6 months, you are entitled to a repair or replacement. If unsuccessful, you may request a price reduction or final right to reject.

4. Claims & Returns Process

  1. Submit a Claim: Contact customer support with your order number, a description of the fault, and clear photos or videos showing the issue.
  2. Inspection: Items claimed under warranty may need to be returned to our facility for technical inspection prior to approving a replacement or refund.
  3. Return Postage: If confirmed defective upon inspection, valid return shipping costs will be reimbursed or a prepaid label provided. If the fault is due to improper installation, physical damage, or wear and tear, return postage remains the customer's responsibility.
